Guests have sole use of the summer-house. It faces south to make the most of the sunshine and views across the fabulous garden and the little pond; please take care if you have small children with you.
The summer-house is a real sun trap and the perfect spot for a barbecue.

The kitchen/dining-room is an excellent size for a cottage that accommodates four guests.

The driveway up to Ford Farm often has grazing sheep either side of the little lane.
The east Devon Jurassic coast and gorgeous Lyme Regis is a really easy drive from Stable Cottage. There are many beaches for great family days out.
There are many lovely fishing villages and seaside towns along the east Devon Jurassic Coast. So much to explore and fabulous coastal path walks.
Walking along the east Devon Jurassic Coast offers one stunning view after another.
The Regency town of Sidmouth is well worth a visit. There is a wonderful long promenade, and the cliff top cafe and gardens in the picture are a treat at the end of your stroll.

Budleigh Salterton is a truly unspoilt little seaside town. This boat says it all.

An excellent cottage in a great location. It is spacious, well appointed, and very easy to settle into. The extra touches by the generous hosts were greatly appreciated. We especially enjoyed the garden, with its open views. The bank of primroses was stunning, and the summerhouse is a great place for tea and a sit in the sun. We hope to become "regulars" here!...

Would not hesitate in recommending Stable Cottage. This cottage is of a very high standard and is very spacious. The cottage was immaculately clean, extremely well presented, and very comfortable. Stable cottage was very well equipped, the furniture and drapers/blinds were quality. Everything about Stable Coattge was of a very high standard. The location could not be better for travelling Devon south coast. Access to the large attached garden, the summer house and the views enhanced the high quality of this lovely cottage. ...

Stable cottage is a fantastic place to stay with its large garden and wildlife especially the many various birds. The kitchen is large and fully equipped the beds are comfortable. The area has many good walks most uphill. There are lots of places to visit inland or on the coast including Lyme Regis....
