The cottage was comfortable and the 'ship watching' views superb. It is ideal for families with small children as a safe sandy beach lies at the bottom of the garden, accessed by a very short walk via the footpath. However, for us as an older couple, it would almost certainly be rather noisy during the summer months, but we would certainly like to return out of season, as it is cosy and warm with full central heating etc. The availability of parking spaces (max 8) could be a problem, as at present during our visit they were used by both visitors to the local beach (despite of being a private road) and at times overflow for builders vans. The public car park is a fair distance away and quite expensive. However if out for the day, spaces become more available in the evening. We often just left the car and enjoyed the local walks or caught the excellent IOW bus service....

Cosy and warm for a winter stay. To be so close to the sea is the real advantage to this cottage. Hearing the sea whilst going to sleep will stay with me as a very happy memory
