We had a great week at Grand View. The view really is spectacular and the house is extremely well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean and Nick the owner was very helpful and friendly. We’d definitely come back again. The location was also great for us with a 6 year old and an 8 year old, there was lots to do. The kids loved Pennywell Farm which is nearby....

As a family we all enjoyed our stay at Grand View. The house was just lovely with everything included you could think of to make your stay pleasurable. The views were absolutely beautiful and the walk around the adjacent meadow was great for an evening stroll. Nick the host greeted us the first night we were there and told us to call if there were any problems at all. I would recommend staying at Grand View to friends and family without hesitation....

Nick, the owner, came to welcome us in, and gave us helpful local information, and a voucher to buy goodies at the local garden centre/farm shop which was a kind gesture. The house was fantastic, the living area was so well arranged, we all had a great family get-together, and space enough for us all. The views across the hills towards the moor were incredible, and changed by the minute. A superb cottage. The location was a slight let down as there is no walkable pub or shop, but that was made clear in the description. The 2 local pubs were a short drive away and were both very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed staying at this outstanding property. The field adjoining the house was wonderful for the dog, too!...
