What a lovely spot! So quiet (and we live in a little village) and spectacular views. The layout in the hut is well planned to make use of the space. We had no trouble with mobile reception. Visited Powderham Castle and the House of Marbles - both excellent and the latter is free!...

We had a great few days at the Shepherd’s Hut. It is in the most beautiful, very rural, area and was so peaceful. The views are gorgeous. We are a family of 4 and the hut had everything that we needed and was very comfortable. It is walking distance to a great pub in Cheriton Fitzpaine and isn’t far from other amenities despite feeling as though it’s the middle of nowhere! The owner was lovely and let us meet some newborn lambs and goats, which the boys loved. I’d really recommend the hut for families or couples looking to escape for a bit! ...
