There are many creeks and beautiful scenery in and around the Helford River.
The rugged coast can be explored via the South West Coast Path for a short walk or a full day out ending up in a pub.
The pretty harbour at Porthleven is surrounded by cafes, small shops and restaurants, something for everyone.
The large family-friendly sandy beach at Praa Sands is a short twenty minute drive away.
Visit the estate at Trelowarren with its Woodland Walks (April to October)

The property was spacious, clean and bright. It was nicely decorated and comfortable. The cottage was in the countryside on a lane with little traffic so was peaceful and quiet. The garden had lovely views across the coutryside. The owners lived on the farm next door and were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for touring central and western Cornwall. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the cottage to others....

This is our third stay in this cottage and sure it won't be our last. Cosy, comfortable and in a peaceful location but convenient to get to many lovely beaches and places of interest in the surrounding area. Everything exceptionally clean.
