St Mawes is a magical place for a holiday. Wander down to the harbourside and watch the tide ebb and flow, or perhaps take the seasonal passenger ferry to Falmouth.

The Hidden Hut is a short stroll along the coast path from Portscatho.
Porthcurnick beach is one of many delightful beaches on the Roseland.
Catch the King Harry ferry and explore west Cornwall.
St Just in Roseland is a delightful place to visit.

We have stayed at Brackley House a number of times over the years. We were delighted to see this time when we walked in that the house had been re carpeted and decorated throughout along with new flooring in the bathrooms. This has really brightened the house up, it’s a very comfortable house with plenty of space. In addition there is a good size parking space which is unusual for St Mawes It has a great view over Summers beach from the lounge and balcony. We would stay here again. The house is very convenient for the village, with just one hill to the centre and harbour where you can find shops, cafes and restaurants. ...

A very well equiped house with a large, airy kitchen, comfortable dining room with large table for spreading maps and excellent sitting room with good TV and access to outdoor area. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable with an adjoining ironing room proving very useful. We are well into our seventies and found Brackley excellent for walking to the shops, ferries, beach etc. We loved it!...

Brackley house, is a lovely cottage close enough to the sea and shops that it takes seconds to get to either, but far enough away you don’t hear noise from the Rising Sun pub or Idle Rocks Hotel. We would recommend St Mawes and Brackley House to everyone. ...
