This is a lovely cottage, ideal for a large family or group of friends. We chose it because of the accessible bathroom and bedroom which enabled three generations of our family to spend an enjoyable weekend here. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with good facilities. Once here you don't need to leave apart from the odd walk or two. The visitor centre and café are excellent and well worth a visit. We are glad you enjoyed the fantastic location of this property. We are sorry to hear that the fire doors had given you an institutional feel and you had been a little disappointed with equipment. Whilst the owners can't change the doors as they are there for guests' safety, they have since let us know that they are replacing the oven in November and getting a list of maintenance that they will address, from guest suggestions and their own observations. Lovely warm and comfortable cottage with plenty of space for everyone. We appreciated the en-suite bedrooms and the peaceful surroundings. So lovely too to have the Kingcombe centre just down the road!
