If you like the happy sound of chirping birds in this tranquil setting nested in a secluded picturesque garden, punctuated by the periodic sounds of screaming children in the playground next door, then this is otherwise a quiet retreat......with no sound of rushing traffic, you almost expect to hear the trotting of horse and carts up and down the narrow lanes of a bygone era. Combe Martin beach just down the road, complete with concrete causeway for a scenic walk by the most sharp ferocious looking rocks and slate cliffs. We come every year. For a nice break. ...
