What a fantastic place for a family holiday getaway. Wallis Barn is a delight to stay in, and it definitely had the wow factor, full of peaceful Cornish charm with privacy to relax and enjoy a change of scene. With easy road access to outstanding beaches and wonderful walks, it is a great base for exploring the whole area . Wallis Barn is a big family barn conversion, secluded but near to both Helston and Culdrose Naval Air base. We noticed in the visitor comments that some people found the helicopter action 'noisy', but our grandson had hours of amusement spotting the helicopters and planes. The upstairs living room had fabulous views, and the bedrooms were very comfortable, especially the 'master suite'. All the bathrooms looked as if they had been recently refurbished to a very high standard, and the equipment throughout the house was very good. Perhaps the only downside is that it is a drive, or long walk down to the beach and pub, and there are no footpaths to cut the corner off. We would certainly come back....

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. It’s equipped with everything you would need. It’s clean & well decorated. So comfortable. A very peaceful spot with the bonus of your own garden space. Milk in the fridge for us as well as a treat food hamper. Great access to beautiful coves & walks.
