We really enjoyed staying at Forge Cottage. We stayed at the end of January with two dogs. The village / pubs were extremely dog friendly which was a welcome bonus & the beach ensured they exercised themselves - hitting the sand and playing. The lady at the local Londis was informative and welcoming, as was Jo the housekeeper / agent. The church was an added bonus for history lovers - within a beautiful setting and dramatic lighting within, with an amusing story around the back of a criminal who broke free from the stocks and fled to sea, before being tried for his crimes. Both pubs served good food and welcomed dogs. Its definitely on our 'return to' list. Also, I loved listening to the owls in the night - a rare opportunity ! ...

Lovely and beautiful cottage, we loved staying here with our dogs. Very clean, great service and Crantock is such a beautiful place. We loved playing at the beach and exploring the sw coastpath!
