We really enjoyed our stay at Buttervilla Retreat. It exceeded our expectations; it's a true home away from home. The barn is so well appointed with high quality equipment and beautifully decorated. You can really tell alot of love has gone into this place. To arrive to beautiful home cooked scones and fresh flowers, what a dream way to start a holiday ?? We could really fully relax in the beautiful surroundings. We loved the amazing views and hearing all of the wonderful birdsong every morning. Sitting out with breakfast and a cup of tea, enjoying the peace. It was a treat seeing the swallows and bats flying over while relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings too. The owners are so lovely and friendly and we appreciated the private drive way and felt like we had our own space. We honestly didn't end up going out as much as we expected as we were enjoying chilling out at the barn. It's a beautiful part of the world. Thank you for a wonderful stay....

Beautiful cosy cottage in a great location. Homemade scones provided on arrival were delicious. Definitely would go back in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at buttervilla retreat and would definitely return/recommend to family/friends! The owners were lovely and the scones and flowers on arrival were a great touch. The location was brilliant with most beaches being around a 10 minute drive. We would recommend Tregantle beach which was lovely. We did a lovely circular walk around mount edgecumbe which had some beautiful views with a stop at a pub/cafe half way round. Another lovely walk was through Seaton country park with a visit to the Copley Arms pub for a drink afterwards (lovely pub that also does lovely food). We also visited Polperro and Looe which is a must! Lots of lovely dog friendly beaches, cafes and restaurants within a close proximity. We also enjoyed going to the local half way house pub that we could walk to through a private walkway that the owner had created through the field! The hot tub was great for the evenings. We had such a great time, the barn was a home from home feel and we were very sad to leave! ...

Lovely barn, peaceful location, great amenities, local pub 5 mins walk, close to many beaches, walks and busier seaside towns.

Really enjoyed our stay.
