The barn is in a beautiful location. The surrounding trees were full of birds even in gloomy February. I watched bullfinch fight, deer crop the grass and jays bob about. There is no light pollution and the stars were superb, with the Milky Way visible. The day time views were also superb. The accommodation is lovely with all the rooms opening onto the elevated decking. It was the most comprehensive set of kitchen utensils I have seen for a while in a rental property (Including knife sharpener!). The host was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you! ...

Kevin was a great host. He popped round on our arrival. Told was of places to go and eat and also a couple of good walks which was very helpful. The barn was well furnished and had good views over the valley. Was lovely to be able to open the doors and walk up to a field without having to put the dog on a lead. The sunsets from the balcony were lovely. We had a wonderful week and would recommend Larch barn ....
