Avon beach is a ten minute walk from Sandy Days, plenty of space for building sandcastles.

Looking across the mouth of Christchurch Harbour towards Mudeford Quay, ferry trips and adventure boat trips leave from the Quay.
The utility/games-room is not heated but provides lots of extra storage space and room for children to play. Note that the pool table is now an air hockey table, (new picture to follow).
You will find a lovely array of seaside kit for the children, great for crabbing on the quay.
You will find lines for crabbing and lots of buckets and spades for you to use at Sandy Days.

Lymington from the old harbour. From the other side of the river, take a day trip to the Isle of Wight, it takes about 30 minutes by ferry to Yarmouth.
Lymington Old Town has historic streets that lead down to the Quayside, with cafes, restaurants and pubs where you can watch the world go by.
New Forest National Park is a short drive away and looks wonderful year round. It has acres of ancient woodland, miles of footpaths and cycle tracks that invite you to explore.
New Forest ponies roam free, along with cattle and pigs.
The Sandbanks ferry travels on chains across the strong tides at the entrance to Poole Harbour, linking Poole with the Isle of Purbeck.
Further afield, Studland beach, safe and sandy. In the distance Old Harry Rocks, the beginning of the Jurassic Coast.

We had a lovely stay at Sandy Days. It was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped, and the owner was very warm and welcoming. The tranquil garden was so peaceful and a great spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. There was a generous welcome pack awaiting us on arrival (including treats for our dog) which we greatly appreciated. The location is great, the New Forest is a short drive away, plus there's a luxury hotel with a spa, restaurant and sun terrace just a short walk away, along with a pub and the most amazing fish and chip shop. A short stroll away is Avon beach, where there's a pub/cafe and a further restaurant with fabulous views and a coffee bar with delicious baked treats. There is so much to see and do in the area, all within easy reach. We would definitely return. If you are thinking of booking Sandy Days then do it, you won't be disappointed....

4th time at this place. Wonderful stay as always. The welcome pack was very nice too. We love Christchurch. The customer service is very responsive if there is a problem. Its very rare we have any issues. I would highly recommend classic cottages you really do get what you pay for....

Comfortable, well equipped bungalow. Well located for getting out to everything that the area offers. Very convenient for the "Noisy Lobster" restaurant, for seafood lovers. We would stay again.

This is the third time my family and I have stayed at Sandy Days and we have found it just perfect. The location is great with beaches and the Quay within walking distance and other attractions are nearby. The bungalow has everything you need to enjoy your stay.
