This is a fantastic area for sailing and many other watersports, and tuition of all kinds is available locally. Ferries run from the nearby Prince of Wales Pier to Flushing, St Mawes, Truro and the Helford River. Gardens at Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick are all worth visiting, and the surfing beaches of the north coast are a short car journey away.
