The apartment was very clean,And the decor was of a very high standard.Ithink it may be more suitable for couples or families with older kids.Due to the stairs leeding up to the apartment. Also quite noisy with all the traffic going up and down. Also for us the parking situation was not good,it was quite a climb up the hill to your parking space.Yet some of the residents could park right outside.Or you could park in the public car park.Which cost £15 per night!!So if you’re quite fit and have no mobility problems, this is a really nice apartment to stay!...

Perfect location and property to stay . Spotlessly clean with great views and not far from everything . Perfect !!!

We loved the apartment. From the first minute in the place we felt at home. Lovely neutral decor. Very clean and well maintained. Extremely comfortable and very well equipped in the kitchen. A great coffee machine for my morning cuppa and a Ninja milk frother was a bonus. Everything we needed to make meals when we stayed in. The view from the bedroom with the balcony was stunning ,being able to see the sea every day was wonderful. The bed also is very comfortable, nearly as good as ours at home!! Which I very rarely say. There were two flights of stairs to go up to the apartment outside which were fine but wouldn’t be if somebody had mobility issues. Also our car parking space was a bit of a hike up a very steep hill again not good if you have mobility issues. But we did fine by the end of the week we walked up there, much better than we had when we first arrived. That we felt was because St Ives had quite a few hills going up and down the streets and we got fitter as the week went on. Portminster beach was beautiful. And only a short walk down a hill. We where lucky to have a food festival on while we were there. Great fun. The one negative we had was the main road into the town was just outside the apartment, and was pretty noisy when we sat on the balcony, not very relaxing. I would say at the height of the season it would be constant noise. But when the doors were closed we hardly heard it. And fair to say the positives of the apparent far outweighed the road. It wouldn’t stop us from staying there again. Great value for money. A real find. Loved our stay in St. Ives we will be back. ...

We're thrilled to see how much you loved the property! You timed your visit well with the St Ives Food Festival and gorgeous weather during your stay. St Ives is a bustling town and as you say it is very popular in the summer months. We find that a lot of high season day visitors prefer to use one of the out of town car parks as parking in and around the beaches and harbour is limited, or even opt to catch the little branch line train from St Erth (fabulous scenery!) as an alternative to driving in, although of course the wonderfully central position does mean you're in the heart of the action. We can't wait to welcome you back again. Tanya, Customer Support...

A superbly appointed modern apartment with a good location an easy walk away from the centre of St Ives. Ideal for a break away. There is a nice patio area for al fresco dining. Parking is a premium in St Ives - the parking space is a short distance away from the property ( you could pay to park immediately next to the property for £15/ 24 hours, or less for a few hours if you preferred). If you were planning on using the car every day to get about to explore Cornwall , this would a minor inconvenience, especially in wet weather. However, we see many places don't have parking at all! We stayed put for the week and walked everywhere so wasn't an issue. The proximity to the beach is excellent. It is right on the main road which was noisy at times but nothing that ear plugs didn't solve. This apartment would be best suited for couples or family with teenagers as so nicely appointed that sand / kids would likely spoil it. There are steps up to the apartment and a hill to the parking so not suitable for buggies / low mobility. Overall an excellent stay. Would go again for a break away. ...

The apartment interior was presented really well with some lovely features and everything we needed. We chose the apartment because of the outside area and amazing view of Porthminster beach from the balcony and saw some amazing sunrises. We didn’t use the outside areas as hoped due to the busy road in front of the building but warmer, sunnier weather may make all the difference. ...
