Tolpuddle Cottage was in an excellent location for exploring Dorset. The Martyrs Inn, 200 metres away was most welcoming and we enjoyed the food very much. All in all a fantastic week.

Lovely, well appointed cottage in a fabulous historic location. Great for exploring Dorset from.

Well appointed and comfortable cottage. Well located to access local attractions.

Lovely quiet cottage in a handy location for attractions amenities and not too far from the coast either

Tolpuddle Cottage is located in a pretty village with excellent access and within a 30 minutes drive of most attractions, towns and villages. The photos and description of the cottage are generally accurate but me mindful the stairs are steep and winding. I have made detailed comment in the feedback form, but the duvets and pillows are in very poor condition; this does need addressing for future guests' comfort. We had very mild nights in September and unfortunately we did not sleep well under 10.5 tog duvets. Season appropriate duvets would have been much better. Overall we enjoyed our stay and exploring the east side of Dorset. I would return to the cottage if the bedding issues are rectified. ...
