An idyllic location makes this spacious and luxurious safari tent hard to resist. Set a stone's throw from the gorgeous Lamorna Cove, Bluebell is located on the edge of an eight acre field with glimpses of twinkling sea and its very own wood-fired hot tub.
Boasting a double and a twin bedroom as well as a double den bed in the living area, the tent has everything you'll need for comfortable glamping. As well as the double shower and separate cloakroom with WC and wash-basin, there is a wood-fired range (for cooking and heating), quality furnishings and a kitchen-area featuring a Belfast sink and farmhouse-style dresser. What to do? You can roam the nearby farmland, walk the coastal path, hit the beaches, explore nearby towns or simply sit back and enjoy the peace of the Cornish countryside, perhaps from the hot tub with a glass of fizz in-hand.
So that the field remains quiet and car-free, you transport your luggage in a wheelbarrow from the private parking-area. Bluebell is the first tent you will come to, with Buttercup and Foxglove beyond, and has glimpses of the sea from its pleasant decked terrace, where sun-loungers are provided for you to relax and enjoy the fabulous views over this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Styled in soft blues, the tent has a living area with a comfortable leather sofa and wooden dining-table and chairs, a wood-fired range to make it warm and cosy whatever the weather outside, and a kitchen-area with fridge, kettle, toaster and power socket (there is even a hair-dryer provided too). The shower-room and cloakroom can both be accessed from either inside or outside the tent. For times when you don't want to cook on the range, there is a two-ring camping gas stove (with grill) under canvas cover on the deck, and also a barbecue to use in the field.
Behind the tent is a children's play fort and trampoline as well as a huge 'shed' housing an honesty-shop (with a range of produce from fresh and frozen), children's games-room (complete with a variety of 'mini games' including pool table, table-tennis, table-football and more), laundry-room (with washing machine and tumble-drier - use of these are at cost, payable to the owner) and, last but certainly not least, indoor cinema room (with Digi-box, DVD player and proper cinema seats!).
You can explore the neighbouring 90 acres of land on this wonderful working farm (as such, you may hear the chug of the occasional passing tractor) with its man-made lake and perfect picnic spots with fabulous views. Lamorna Cove is only a short walk away, where you will find a picturesque harbour, rocky cove, sandy beach and a café offering canoe hire. Within a short drive is the famous clifftop Minack Theatre, the popular surfing beach of Sennen Cove, and a range of pretty towns and villages, including Mousehole, Penzance and St Ives.
