TwinWho could resist Buttercup's picture-postcard location, close to Cornwall's picturesque Lamorna Cove and set in an eight acre field with delicious sea glimpses and its very own wood-fired hot tub?
Spacious and luxurious, this comfortable glamping safari tent has a double and a twin bedroom, and a double den bed in the living area. There is a huge shower and separate cloakroom with WC and wash-basin, a wood-fired range (for cooking and heating), high quality furnishings and a kitchen-area with a Belfast sink and farmhouse-style dresser. During your stay you can get out and about roaming the farmland, walking, surfing or exploring nearby towns and villages, or simply stay at home and relax in this tranquil corner of the countryside, there may even be some livestock in the adjacent field to ogle, perhaps in the hot tub with a glass of fizz in-hand.
To ensure that the field remains peacefully vehicle-free, you will leave your car in the private parking-area and transport your luggage in a wheelbarrow to Buttercup, the middle tent of its siblings Bluebell and Foxglove. As well as a picnic table and barbecue, sun-loungers are provided on its wooden decked terrace for you to enjoy the fabulous views over this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Decorated in sunny yellows, the tent has a living area with a wooden dining-table and chairs and a comfortable leather sofa, while in the centre a wood-fired range ensures warmth and cosiness all year round. The traditionally styled kitchen-area boasts a fridge, kettle, toaster and power socket for all your charging needs, while the shower-room and cloakroom can both be accessed from either inside or outside the tent (there is even a hair-dryer provided too). As an alternative to the range, there is also a two-ring camping gas stove (with grill) under canvas cover on the deck, as well as a barbecue in the field.
Behind the tent is a children's play fort and trampoline as well as a huge 'shed' housing an honesty-shop (with a range of produce from fresh and frozen), children's games-room (complete with a variety of 'mini games' including pool table, table-tennis, table-football and more), laundry-room (with washing machine and tumble-drier - use of these are at cost, payable to the owner) and, last but certainly not least, indoor cinema room (with Digi-box, DVD player and proper cinema seats!).
You can spend time exploring the 90 acres of land on this wonderful working farm (as such, you may hear the chug of the occasional passing tractor), much of which has lovely views, with its man-made lake and pretty picnic spots. Or why not stroll to the picturesque harbour of Lamorna Cove or take a short drive to famous spots such as the clifftop Minack Theatre, the surfing beach of Sennen Cove, and a range of pretty towns and villages including Penzance, Mousehole and St Ives.
