Beautiful views and total tranquility are the hallmarks of a stay at Foxglove, where you can choose between roaming acres of peaceful farmland, strolling the coastal path, enjoying nearby beaches, exploring local towns and villages or simply relaxing on your deck or in the wood-fired hot tub - bliss! This large and luxurious safari tent is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a stone's throw from the idyllic Lamorna Cove. Outside there are sea glimpses and occasional livestock to ogle at in the adjacent field, while inside there is everything you will need for a glamping getaway, including a double and a twin bedroom plus a double den bed in the living area, a spacious shower-room and separate cloakroom. The wood-fired range provides both cooking and heating, while quality furnishings include a kitchen-area with a Belfast sink and a farmhouse-style dresser.
When you whizz your luggage in a wheelbarrow from the private parking-area, Foxglove is the last tent you will come to in the delightful eight acre field, shared with Bluebell and Buttercup. Its covered deck has sun-loungers from where you will enjoy glimpses of the sea. The tent is decorated in pretty pinks, and features a comfortable leather sofa as well as a wooden dining-table and chairs, with a wood-fired range blazing in the centre to ensure welcoming warmth in every season.
There is plenty of storage space in the kitchen, where you will find a fridge, kettle, toaster and power socket for all your charging needs, while the shower-room and cloakroom can both be accessed from either inside or outside the tent (there is even a hair-dryer provided too). On the deck, a two-ring camping gas stove (with grill) is provided for your use, and there is also a barbecue in the field for grilling bangers or toasting marshmallows.
Behind the tent is a children's play fort and trampoline as well as a huge 'shed' housing an honesty-shop (with a range of produce from fresh and frozen), children's games-room (complete with a variety of 'mini games' including pool table, table tennis, table football and more), laundry-room (with washing machine and tumble-drier - use of these are at cost, payable to the owner) and, last but certainly not least, indoor cinema room (with Digi-box, DVD player and proper cinema seats!).
You can all spend time roaming the 90 acres of land on this wonderful working farm (as such, you may hear the chug of the occasional passing tractor), with its man-made lake and picnic spots that boast fabulous views. Or perhaps you might take a stroll to the picturesque Lamorna Cove or drive to the famous clifftop Minack Theatre, the popular surfing beach of Sennen Cove, or to a wide range of pretty towns and villages including bustling Penzance, postcard-pretty Mousehole and artistic St Ives.
