Annie and Charles went out of their way to make us comfortable and give us local advice. We especially enjoyed the well stocked welcome hamper and the scones with clotted cream and fresh raspberry jam at the end of our stay. A copy of the local newspaper was a bonus as there is no shop in the village. Couldn't have asked for more....

As mentioned earlier our Cornwall holiday was made complete when staying at Puckeys Forge.The owners Annie and Charles were extremely generous in their hospitality and genuine friendship making our stay one of the most enjoyable of all time.The cottage is very well finished very well appointed and offers a simply stunning place to stay.The central location of Ladock village provided easy access to the east and west coasts making visiting places of interest easy.Everything about this property was above and beyond expectations. We dined locally at the Falmouth Arms which was excellent value and we found the owners most welcoming after a long journey from North Yorkshire.Ladock village has a close Community feel about it and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay.Totally happy with our experience and would thoroughly recommend this venue....

Our second stay at Puckeys Forge and a lovely welcome from Annie and Charles as always. Spotless and tastefully decorated, peaceful and great location for exploring a lot of Cornwall. Great welcome basket and a lovely homemade cream tea from Annie. Our ‘go to’ cottage for this part of Cornwall - highly recommended....

This was our second stay at Puckey's Forge - our first time was 5 years ago, which was our first holiday together as a couple! We loved it so much we returned this year with our 1-year-old! There are so many reasons to love Puckey's Forge: first and foremost, the fabulous owners who gave us such a warm welcome (popped round with scones within the hour of arriving). Our car broke down the morning we were due to leave, and they kindly let us back into the property with a tray of toast and tea while we waited for assistance! The property itself is wonderful - spotlessly clean and so comfortable. The location is beautifully quiet but also convenient for getting almost anywhere in Cornwall, particularly Truro, The Roseland, Newquay, St Austell and beaches on both the north & south coasts. Our 1-year-old loved the fluffy rug and enormous bathtub (as did we!) Highly, highly recommend. ...
