Welcome to Bovey Safari, a wonderful safari tent nestled in a peaceful valley in the glorious south Devon countryside. Sleeping four adults and two children, and dog-friendly, this really is a special spot for that unforgettable family holiday.
Step inside to find a beautiful, light open plan living space, with a wooden dining-table and chairs, a sweet day bed, and a wood-burner - just perfect for cosy suppers and taking some time to relax. The cute bespoke kitchen has a hob, wood-fired stove, kettle and fridge, ideal for rustling up breakfast and preparing picnics. Bedroom one is a pretty king-sized room located behind the kitchen, bedroom two is a delightful twin room, and there's also a cute cabin bed sleeping two. Your peaceful location means you'll be sure to enjoy a restful night's sleep.
Your outside space is quite magical. Here you'll find a fire-pit barbecue, picnic bench and a wood-fired hot tub - just perfect for those balmy summer nights and idyllic spring days. There are two loungers perched outside of the safari tent too, where you can spend blissful afternoons soaking up the sunshine.
Bovey Safari is nestled on the same site as Brownscombe Cabin (5228), Brownscombe Tabernacle (2907) and Brownscombe Roundhouse (5225) and in the same meadow as Yealm Safari (5240), Tamar Safari (5334) and Dart Safari (5335). All of the getaways are positioned so that you have your own outdoor space with plenty of privacy.
During the summer months, you'll find a shop, pizza barn, games-room and spa treatments available on site. The owner can provide barbecue hampers and delicious casseroles served hot to pick up from the barn during your stay (to be ordered before your holiday begins), and you can shop for all the essentials, such as bread and eggs, at Brownscombe Larder. Enjoy fondue nights by the fire at The Lodge and pizza nights at Brownscombe Barn - perfect! There's a shared games-room with table-tennis and table-football, and if you fancy indulging in some self-care, you can book various spa treatments with the on site beauty therapist.
There is WiFi in the communal barn and lodge. Farmers rounds are available to book once during your stay to feed the pigs, sheep, chickens and ducks.
