Kings Head, Gunnerside

Dog friendly with water and biscuits.
Limited menu but all food was lovely. Staff were exceptionally helpful, we provided containers and they organised take away for us.
Would definitely recommend

With views over Morcombe Bay and the Lake District, Arnside beach is on the river Kent estuary, designated National Landscapes. There is a charming Victorian promenade with eclectic shops and cafes and a small pier. Whilst the beach is not suitable for swimming, this is a lovely place to take in the views and go for a stroll.

Situated at the head of Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales, Hawes is a delightful, historic market town with charming sandstone cottages and a busy Tuesday market. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Hawes is well worth a visit.

Lovely little town with plenty of places to eat and drink, very nice shops too

Learn all there is to know about Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese through an interactive experience and watching cheese making from the viewing gallery. There's a gift shop so you can stock up on all things cheese and a lovely restaurant and garden.

Fantastic tour, really interesting and the shop and cafe and restaurant are excellent

Surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales, The Punch Bowl is a 17th century inn with cosy interiors and terraced outside seating for alfresco dining. For walkers heading along Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk, this pub is perfectly placed close by.
