Gull Cottage

During the Christmas/New Year period, bookings are available for a minimum of 12 guests staying in a minimum of two cottages.

This charming cottage is a welcoming retreat for families looking to unwind and explore the beauty of north Devon. Split over two floors in a reverse-level design, this "upside-down" cottage makes the most of its elevated position, offering lovely countryside views and plenty of natural light throughout the open plan living space.

Step through the front door and you'll find yourself in the bright and airy kitchen and dining-area, where exposed stonework and original beams add to the cottage's traditional charm. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything you'll need for a relaxing self-catering stay - while the dining-table provides the perfect spot for family meals or laid-back breakfasts before heading out for the day. The adjoining living area features comfortable sofas and a television, creating a cosy space to unwind after a day of exploring the coast or countryside.

Large east-facing windows flood the room with morning sunshine, and from here, you can step out to the private garden which enjoys fantastic views across the rolling hills - an ideal setting for morning coffee or evening drinks.

Downstairs, Gull Cottage comfortably sleeps six guests across three thoughtfully arranged bedrooms. The double bedroom offers a peaceful retreat for parents, while the twin room and bunk bedroom are perfect for children or friends sharing. The family bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower, giving you the choice between a quick refresh or a long soak after a day out in the fresh Devon air.

Gull Cottage is dog-friendly, ideal for those who don't want to leave their four-legged family members behind. They'll love exploring the countryside walks around Robin Hill Farm and running free in the enclosed four acre dog field.

Guests also have access to a wonderful range of shared facilities. Take a dip in the indoor heated swimming pool, kept at a balmy 28 degrees year-round, or head to the games-room for a friendly match of table-tennis, foosball or pool. Outside, explore 14 acres of farmland and woodland on the farm's signposted walking trail, perfect for stretching your legs and enjoying the peaceful Devon countryside.

For larger gatherings, all six cottages at Robin Hill Farm, Wren Cottage (6038), Swallow Cottage (6039), Kingfisher Cottage (6040), Heron Cottage (6041) and Puffin Cottage (6042) can be booked together, making it the perfect choice for extended families, friends or special celebrations. With a mix of double, twin and bunk bedrooms, private gardens and spacious living areas, each cottage provides both comfort and privacy while giving the whole group access to the farm's fantastic, shared facilities.
