Alton House has been lovingly designed with stylish decor and contemporary furnishings to present a gorgeous holiday home for all its guests.
The front door is up a couple of small steps and once over the threshold you are welcomed by a large hallway with restored original features. The sitting-room to the front is spacious and light, with high ceilings and a warming wood-burner, perfect for the cooler months. Comfy sofas beckon you to relax after a busy beach day and the Smart TV will entertain the family.
Towards the rear of the property it opens up to a delightful stylish kitchen that the chef in your party will love and which is well-equipped for your holiday needs, with a central island and large dining area with traditional farmhouse table where everyone can gather to chat about the day's adventures. Patio doors lead out to the garden and outside terrace areas.
This part of the house is flooded with natural light, creating a fantastic space for everyone to enjoy. The luxurious addition of a large snug is perfect for a quiet read or perhaps to catch up if work calls, with another wood-burner this is a room everyone will want to retire to for chill out time.
Leading on from the kitchen is a further inner hallway with a cloakroom and access to a superb utility-room providing that all-important laundry space, dishwasher and boot-room perfect for all those holiday essentials.
Climb the stairs to the first floor and the pretty children's bedroom awaits with twin beds perfectly positioned in this lovely large room. Bedroom two has a comfy king-size bed ensuring a great night's sleep and is right next door to a stylish shower-room.
The swish family bathroom is also on the first floor towards the front of the property and has a large rainfall shower and a super free-standing bath, ideal for washing salty toes. Bedroom three has a king-size bed and is light and airy with the addition of modern shutters on the sash windows and views out towards the front and the village.
Outside enjoy the lovely garden has a seating area, a quiet space to enjoy if the busy warm holiday days of summer become a little overwhelming. Possibly give the chef a break and try a barbecue with award-winning produce available right from your doorstep.
The gate from the rear of the garden gives access to the property car parking space which is adequate for one large car, with further parking available on Denett Road or the High Street.
Looking for things to do close by, visit the Bembridge Windmill, the the only remaining windmill on the Isle of Wight and a 10 minute walk from the property. Also worth a visit is the Bembridge Lifeboat Station, just a ten minute walk from Alton House in the opposite direction.
