Surrounded by stunning countryside this former farm worker's cottage has been sensitively refurbished to create a gorgeous little holiday escape. Restored using traditional materials and techniques by local craftsmen, Harris Cottage offers a warm and authentic welcome to its guests whether a couple or solo traveller.

After a day exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall, return to the comforts of this cute cottage as it's time to relax. The calm and cosy sitting-room is a delightful space to spend time, get comfy on the sofa, watch your favourite movie, read a book or listen to the radio and in the cooler months fire up the wood-burner and get yourself nice and toasty.

The small but perfectly formed kitchen with slate flagged floor has everything you need to cook up a tasty breakfast or hearty foodie feast and with an abundance of fresh local produce on your doorstep at farm and village shops and local markets, the choice is yours.

When slumber calls head upstairs to the lovely light bedroom where your king-size bed dressed in fresh Egyptian linens and fluffy pillows awaits. Snuggle under the duvet to recharge your batteries before waking rested and refreshed ready for the new day.

To the rear of the cottage the little garden is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun or take in the countryside views. The cottage also has parking for one car.

For larger groups you can also rent Trewollack House (5392) right next door, perfect for those who want to join the party but also have some private time and space.

Located close to Nansledan, on the outskirts of Newquay, the cottage is a perfect base to explore the beautiful sandy beaches of the north coast, such as Crantock, Fistral, Porth and Watergate Bay or inland to discover beautiful houses and gardens such as the National Trust house Trerice and for golfers, the course at Holywell Bay which overlooks the beach.
