The Baggarah in Low Row is situated in the beautiful north Pennines and is a perfect starting point for those who enjoy the outdoor life. Cumbria is an excellent county for bird watching, sightings of the Common Sandpiper and White Stork have been noted, visit RSPB Geltsdale which is a hotspot for breeding curlew, take a look at the Cumbria Bird Club website for inspiration. Walking is a dream in this area of Cumbria, try out Cartmel Fell, White Pike, Broughton Moor and Orrest Head. If you have some energy left this area features a number of interesting waterfalls including Tiberthwaite Gill, Rydal Falls, Taylor Gill Force and many more. Talkin Tarn is a 65 acre lake which is set in beautiful woodland and fields, spend a leisurely hour in a boat on the lake, have a go at kayaking or try your hand at archery.
