This property really makes the most of the view, as you enter up the stairs to the airy open plan layout your eye is immediately drawn to the incredibly inviting king-size bed which, with its plush cushions and luxurious duvet, ensures a great night's sleep. Wake up in the morning to the crisp morning sun peaking through the many windows lining the walls. Please note there are no blinds on the velux and picture windows.
Gaze out the main window over rolling countryside and over the sea towards your picturesque surroundings as you cook up a storm in the compact yet well-equipped kitchen, complete of course with the essential coffee pod machine. Look forward to romantic meals for two at the intimate dining-area, nestled into the corner of the room, before settling down together on the exceedingly comfortable cream sofa and enjoying a game of scrabble.
Wake up and enjoy the brisk morning air as you tuck into a delicious breakfast on the outside decking area, which boasts great views across the unspoilt countryside that surrounds Little Hawkridge. If you have a four-legged friend accompanying you during your retreat, a beautiful secluded footpath runs next to the drive, offering a great place for calming evening walks with your dog.
Downstairs is a large entrance hall which is perfect for muddy boots or sandy shoes along with a smartly finished bathroom offering everything you'll need to refresh yourself after day exploring stunning Cornish landscapes.
This special location is shared by Hawkridge House (4998), a charming house sleeping six guests and can be booked as an eight depending on availability, please do call the office for more information. Of course privacy for both properties is paramount for a true getaway.
Once you and your loved ones have fully explored this brilliant retreat, venture out and discover the idyllic landscapes of the Roseland and Fal Heritage Coastline. Enjoy exploring the pretty footpaths and quiet lanes right from your front door. Just a short walk away is Trelissick, a picturesque estate that offers calming woodland walks down to the river Fal as well as gorgeous floral gardens to explore. The maritime town of Falmouth is only a 15 minute drive away with boutique shops, fabulous eateries and three sandy beaches to choose from but if you want to stay a little closer to home Loe Beach has a great cafe, water sports equipment you can hire and you are even able to launch your own boat.
Perhaps jump on the charming King Harry Ferry and head down to St Mawes, a lovely small fishing village full of brilliant places to eat such as The Rising Sun and The Watchhouse as well as its very own castle. If you're desperate to feel sand between your toes, head over to Porthcurnick beach and enjoy a refreshing swim before retreating to the sublime Hidden Hut which offers some delicious food and outstanding views.
