Once you and your loved ones have fully explored this brilliant retreat, venture out and discover the idyllic landscapes of the Roseland and Fal Heritage Coastline. Enjoy exploring the pretty footpaths and quiet lanes right from your front door. Just a short walk away is Trelissick, a picturesque estate that offers calming woodland walks down to the river Fal as well as gorgeous floral gardens to explore. The maritime town of Falmouth is only a 15 minute dirve away with boutique shops, fabulous eateries and three sandy beaches to choose from but if you want to stay a little closer to home Loe Beach has a great cafe, water sports equipment you can hire and you are even able to launch your own boat.
Perhaps jump on the charming King Harry Ferry and head down to St Mawes, a lovely small fishing village full of brilliant places to eat such as The Rising Sun and The Watchhouse as well as its very own castle. If you're desperate to feel sand between your toes, head over to Porthcurnick beach and enjoy a refreshing swim before retreating to the sublime Hidden Hut which offers some delicious food and outstanding views out to sea.
