Seaview is a charming seaside village on the Isle of Wight and Buckland Cabin is a delightful holiday retreat, tucked away in the centre of the village just a short stroll from the beach. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two or a solo retreat, this idyllic home is perfect for an Island escape.

Inside, Buckland Cabin is warm and welcoming and decorated in cool-blue pastel shades to match the seaside location. The spacious open plan living-room is simply delightful with kitchen and dining areas. Under-floor heating will keep you cosy throughout the year, and the ceiling windows let light flood in. The kitchen area has all the equipment you will need to create a culinary feast and of course the all-important dishwasher because who wants to spend time washing up on holiday! There is also a washing machine/drier so you can keep on top of the laundry. Sit at the cute foldaway table and chat about the day ahead or relax on the comfy sofa and watch a movie on the Smart TV. The bedroom is gorgeous, with a double bed and stylish en suite shower-room perfect for a refreshing shower after a day exploring the Island.

Located in the grounds of Buckland House, guests at Buckland Cabin share the driveway and path with guests at Buckland House (4290) however the cabin has a gateway, and this area is completely private. The cabin also has a charming private courtyard for al fresco dining or simply sitting in the fresh air with a good book. With the beaches and shops just seconds away, this blissful retreat is ideal for a year-round Island getaway.

From the moment you arrive on the Island and head for Seaview you will be enchanted. With a myriad of beautiful beaches, peaceful woodlands and pretty villages, the Isle of Wight is really rather magical. Located on the eastern side of the Island, Seaview village has all you need including a fabulous Community Shop selling local produce and all your holiday essentials. Looking to treat yourself and dine out; head for Lily's cafe for a hearty home-cooked breakfast, lunch, cakes and pastries. They can even arrange freshly made sandwiches for your picnic. For dinner, The Seaview Hotel has an excellent restaurant for fine dining or a nautical-themed bar for refreshing drinks and bar meals. On the seafront, The Fort is quite special with sea-themed eclectic interiors and wonderful views over the Solent, head here for fresh fish and seafood. If you are heading to the beach for the day, you will be spoilt for choice. Seaview beach is a stone's throw away, sand and shingle this idyllic spot is perfect for spending time taking in the views of the Solent and sea forts. Seagrove Bay is a short stroll away, with a crescent shaped beach at low tide, you may even see the local horses exercising here. For the ultimate is peace and tranquility, walk along the boardwalk to Priory Bay, a remote beach with oodles of space. You may decide to have a car-free holiday on the Island, but if you do decide to travel further afield there is plenty to see and do. The nearby village of Bembridge has a good selection of independent shops and renowned butcher W W Woodford. There's five miles of beach to roam at low tide and the iconic lifeboat station which you are welcome to look around (check locally for opening times). Bembridge is also home to the last surviving windmill on the Island. Further afield Osborne House, once the home of Queen Victoria and now managed by English Heritage, is a wonderful place to explore with a private beach, beautiful gardens and historic house. Or perhaps head for the west of the Island and Freshwater Bay with crystal-clear waters, ideal for paddle boarders and surfers. However you plan to spend your blissful holiday days, Buckland Cabin is perfectly situated for your Island stay.
