This gorgeous family home, within a few minutes' walk to Yarmouth town centre, has not only lovely accommodation but an outdoor heated pool set in a stunning garden. With off street parking for up to two cars Elmscott is the ideal holiday base to explore the Island and enjoy your own private pool. A few minutes' walk takes you to the water's edge and the bustling town centre with a great choice of restaurants and shops. Yarmouth has the longest timber pier open to the public in the UK, the perfect place to stroll along and watch the boats sailing by on the Solent. The ferry from Lymington arrives into Yarmouth so after a few minutes' drive to Elmscott your holiday can begin.

The house has a separate sitting- room to the front with the kitchen and dining-room to the rear overlooking the garden. Double doors lead out to the large and beautifully tended garden, with the pool being in a separate gated area making it safe for the younger ones. Around the pool there are sun loungers to sit back and relax in, lie back and enjoy a good book whilst dangling your toes in the water. The three bedrooms and family bathroom are on the first floor, two doubles and a twin. The furnishings throughout Elmscott are stylish and elegant giving the whole property a warm and welcoming feel.

Perfectly placed just a few minutes stroll from the town, dining out in the evening in one of the local restaurants couldn't be easier. The Terrace is situated just next to the ferry and has a fantastic sitting area overlooking the water from the first floor. Serving great food in a stunning location, booking early is advised. Maybe try On the Rocks for dining with a difference. Beautiful food served on hot volcanic rocks so you can cook it just how you want it, served with fries and salad, you will be in heaven.

Yarmouth is situated on the west coast of the Island and sits at the mouth of the river Yar, and there are an abundance of wonderful walks both coastal and countryside on your doorstep. This side of the Isle of Wight has some of the most dramatic coastline and many amazing beaches to choose from, ranging from small bays to wide expanses of sandy shores. Colwell Bay, just a short drive from Elmscott, has a traditional beachside cafe and the bistro-style restaurant The Hut. The Hut serves fresh seafood and grilled meats in an informal yet stylish environment, definitely worth booking ahead so as not to be disappointed. There is a lovely walk from here into Totland Bay along the sea wall with breathtaking views across the water to Hurst Castle. The water is clear and shallow so perfect for swimming or just sitting and admiring the view with your ice cream.
