Located in Fairy Road in Seaview, Timbuktu is a bright and airy house with plenty of space for a wonderful family holiday on the Island. With a secure gated entrance from the street, the decking and garden to the front of the property are private and provide the perfect suntrap for an afternoon relaxing with a good book and a glass of what you fancy. Just a few minutes stroll away from the beach and the village amenities, you will be perfectly placed to savour every moment of your Island getaway.
The kitchen/dining-room is spacious with an Aga as its focal point. There is dining for all here. There are two reception rooms, one to the front of the house and one in the middle, plenty of space for everyone to relax and spread out.
The main bedroom and the second double are on the first floor. The main bedroom is spacious and has a lovely super-king sized bed for a wonderful night's sleep after the abundance of sea air. A shower-room and a bathroom complete the accommodation on this floor. The two twin rooms are on the second floor, ideal for the younger ones in the party as they can have their own space and television!
The centre of Seaview is just a few minutes' stroll away, a charming seaside village full of character and some stunning beaches within walking distance. Seaview beach is pebbly and has an abundance of rock pools, perfect for a spot of crabbing, whilst the neighbouring bays of Priory and Seagrove are sandy and have shallow waters, ideal for swimming.
There is a delicatessen in Seaview where you can get your much needed ice cream and a community store stocking a great choice of locally-sourced fresh produce. The Seaview Hotel and The Old Fort are great for dining out, both have outdoor seating areas with sea views.
The beauty of the Isle of Wight is that it's not too big to explore every corner, there are so many different beaches and villages to venture to, you will be sure to find your favourite spot.
The dramatic coastline of west Wight is definitely worth a view with some spectacular beaches including the famous Needles. The Isle of Wight is said to enjoy more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in the UK, so we have everything you could possibly want for your well-earned break.
Seaview is an idyllic spot and with everything on your doorstep at Timbuktu you will want to return as soon as you have left.
