Enjoying wonderful countryside views and a splendid rural seclusion, dreamy Trevoole House can be found on a peaceful estate on the outskirts of Praze-an-Beeble village. Tucked down a little lane and surrounded by acres of fields and woodland, it is in the perfect position with the north and south coast both within easy reach.
Nestled in six acres of gorgeous gardens complete with woodland walks, established shrubs and three relaxing ponds, this charming house for five lucky people and their four-legged friends is the perfect country retreat. Inside the house you will find elegant rooms beautifully styled in soft, calm colours to promote a sense of tranquility complete with characterful original features such as tiled and wooden floors and not one but two fabulous wood-burning stoves.
Downstairs all the rooms flow beautifully to create a balmy and relaxing ambiance, you can sink into the large and comfy sofa in the sitting-room while enjoying the flickering flames of the toasty wood-burner. A large doorway leads into the open plan kitchen/dining area, where you will find a fabulous bespoke hand-built kitchen. This is most definitely the hub of the house, where lingering suppers are bound to take place around the informal dining-table and then afterwards why not snuggle up on the sofa in front of the wood-burner with a glass of wine. French doors lead out onto a private terrace overlooking the stunning gardens, perfect for morning coffee and al fresco evening drinks. A handy utility-room is accessed from the rear of the house, where you can leave your beach gear or muddy walking boots, there is also a handy shower here too, just the job for washing sandy toes and salty hair.
Stairs take you up to a lovely bright and sunny landing with dual-aspect views over the garden, leading to the three bedrooms, a super stylish family bathroom, and rather funky retro cloakroom. Each light-filled bedroom has high ceilings, super comfy mattresses and very pretty linens.
If you can bear to tear yourself away from this idyllic retreat, days out from Trevoole House are plentiful, with stunning countryside walks on your doorstep and a choice of glorious sandy beaches a short drive away. Pack up your surfboards and head west to Gwithian Towans - voted one of the best British beaches by the Telegraph. Framing the Atlantic Ocean, it is always a colourful scene of surfers on the water and flamboyant kites in the sky. After a busy day surfing, you're bound to feel a little peckish, so why not head over to the Sunset Surf cafe (which overlooks the beach and is open all year) perfect for tapas in the summer and homemade soup on those chillier days. If you fancy, why not try a homemade cream tea, well you are in Cornwall after all!
Nearby Trevaskis Farm is sure to delight. Set amidst 28 acres of beautiful countryside, you can easily spend the day here. Choose from an abundance of fruit and vegetables to pick (depending upon the season, of course), visit the farm animals and afterwards head over to the Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant - a food-lovers dream! Everything is home-made using local produce and the desserts will most definitely fill your plates and tummies.
The nationally acclaimed Maritime Museum at Falmouth is within a half hour's drive of Trevoole House and Flambards Theme Park in Helston offers fun and thrills for all the whole family.
Your four-legged friend will be made to feel very welcome here and will love exploring the paths which are quite literally on your doorstep! The footpath from Trevoole leads to a moorland which adjoins the Pendarves nature reserve, so don't forget your walking boots.
