A simply stunning church conversion in Totland on the west coast of the Island and within walking distance to the beach, making this the perfect holiday destination. Beautifully converted to a very high standard, 1 Church House can offer you ultimate comfort for a wonderful holiday; with plenty of space and three of the four bedrooms having en suites, this is a great property for two families to enjoy.

The conversion was completed in 2015 after being empty for some years, this Methodist Church was built in 1904 as a memorial to the first Bible Christian missionaries to visit the Island, Mary and William. The conversion has incorporated many of the original features including the very large stained glass window which is something to admire. From the mezzanine main bedroom on the second floor a section of the stained glass has been replaced with clear glass so you can get a sea view!

Three of the four bedrooms are on the ground floor, plus a large utility-room and a separate family bathroom. The entire first floor is open plan with a sleek and modern kitchen, very high spec with a beautiful quartz worktop. The room is warm and welcoming with a lovely large dining-table to gather round and admire your unique surroundings. The main suite on the second floor is both sumptuous and spacious. The full extent of the striking stained glass window is on view from here along with the painted vaulted ceiling, a pretty special sight to wake up to. There is a seating-area to relax in with your morning cuppa and the en suite shower-room is luxurious for a great start to the day.

West Wight has some of the most spectacular and dramatic coastline, with a large selection of beaches to choose from. Totland Bay is glorious with shallow waters ideal for swimming and sandy underfoot. The Waterfront restaurant, at the far end of the bay, overlooks the water and has seating inside and out to make the most of the view. The sunsets from here are well known to be some of the best. Looking out across the Solent over to Hurst Castle, enjoy your evening meal in one of the best spots on the Island. A level walk along the promenade takes you to the neighbouring Colwell Bay, a popular place for families as it has a traditional seaside cafe and, the highly acclaimed restaurant, The Hut serving fresh local food including delicious seafood in an amazing setting, book early so as not to miss out!
