This characterful three-storey town house is close to Ryde Town and passenger ferry links to the mainland so you can holiday without your car if you so wish. Arden Villa has gardens to the front and back, so plenty of space for the little ones to play and outdoor seating for guests to dine out in the Island sunshine. Perfectly placed within a short walk to the beach and the town centre, guests have everything they need within walking distance, a chance to relax.
The newly refurbished kitchen/dining-room, on the lower ground floor, is both stylish and spacious with everything you could possibly need. There is ample space to dine altogether and a separate soft seating area to enjoy a glass of wine whilst chatting to the chef. Double opening doors lead out to the rear patio-area with patio table and chairs with steps leading up to the rear garden. There is a separate utility-room and cloakroom leading from the kitchen.
The ground floor has two sitting-rooms, a more formal one with wood-burner and a wonderfully large picture window overlooking the front garden. The second sitting-room is all set up for the younger ones in the group with a large television and comfy sofas to sit back and enjoy a film. There is also a cloakroom on this floor.
The first floor has a double bedroom with king-size bed and bunk bedroom, plus a superb modern shower-room with a large walk-in shower. Up on the top floor there is a second double bedroom and a twin room. Between the two is a second bathroom with bath and hand shower attachment. Amazing views from the double bedroom and the bathroom sweep over the rooftops and out to the Solent looking across to Portsmouth.
Arden Villa's closest beach is Appley sands, a vast stretch of white sands with shallow waters ideal for paddling, swimming and sandcastle making. There is also a boating lake and children's play area with paddling pool. There are several beach cafes along this stretch of beach with seating overlooking the water, enjoy a moments rest and of course an ice cream. Our web cam views this stretch of beach, check out the surf before you arrive!
Ryde Town is also within walking distance, approximately ten minutes, and has a very good selection of restaurants and cafés. Union Street which leads down to Ryde Pier is full of boutique shops to peruse and stock up on souvenirs.
