Upton View is a lovely cottage on the outskirts of Seaview with double doors opening out from the dining-area to a gorgeous garden and, with outdoor seating, you can while away your evenings dining al fresco whilst planning your days ahead on the Island. It is approximately a fifteen minute walk down into Seaview village and the beach. The village has a cafe and places to dine out, including The Seaview Hotel and The Old Fort pub both with seating areas with sea views.
The ground floor of this cottage has an open plan layout with living, kitchen and dining areas. The cottage has a cosy and welcoming feel, with plenty of soft seating to relax in and a dining-table that looks out to the well established garden. There is also a shower-room on this floor. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms with a second family bathroom with bath and fitted shower.
There is a well-stocked convenience store within a few minutes’ walk, very handy for all the essentials. It is a short drive to the neighbouring villages of St Helens and Bembridge. There are so many family-friendly pubs and restaurants nearby, you will be spoilt for choice. Baywatch On The Beach is located on the St Helens Duver serving locally-sourced seafood in an idyllic setting. The next village along is Bembridge, around a ten minute drive away, an attractive village with its own bakery, fishmongers, butchers and farm shop. Along with a good selection of pubs, cafes and beaches it is definitely a place to visit on your travels.
The Isle of Wight is home to some of the most beautiful beaches and coastlines, endless days out lie ahead exploring all there is to offer. On the western side of the Island, home to the infamous Needles, the landscape is both stunning and dramatic. Head out for the day with a picnic or sample many of the charming village pubs and return to a more traditional family holiday with plenty of fresh sea air on offer!
