This exceptionally spacious and tastefully decorated apartment is laid out over two floors with the sitting-room on the first floor to take full advantage of the wonderful sea views over the rooftops, in the village seaside of Seaview. Within a few minutes walk to the village centre and the beach, Fairlawn is ideally located to saunter down the road for a morning dip in the sea or supper at The Seaview Hotel.
The entrance on the ground floor of the apartment leads through to a cosy snug room with an additional television, perfect for the kids to watch a movie of their choice uninterrupted. The kitchen/dining-room is light and modern with doors leading out into the garden. An amazing space with reclining chairs and outdoor seating to dine at in the Island sunshine, the garden is fully enclosed with a patio area and an artificial lawn, perfect for your four-legged friend and youngsters alike. What more could you ask for after a day at the beach to return to your little oasis?
The two bedrooms are on the first floor, a king-size double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The double has an en suite shower-room and there is an additional family bathroom adjacent to the twin bedroom. Fairlawn is the ideal holiday retreat for a family or two couples with spacious and flexible accommodation. The sitting-room has a window seat spanning the large bay window, where you can sit and admire the sea views or watch the ships sail by, including many cruise ships leaving Southampton Harbour. Very tastefully furnished with comfortable sofas to relax in with a good book and a log-effect fire to warm your toes if the sun happens to not be shining.
Seaview is located on the north-eastern corner of the Isle of Wight, an idyllic village with a choice of stunning beaches to choose from within walking distance, including Priory Bay. Here you will be met with white sands and excellent swimming conditions, a favourite for beach barbecues. The village itself has several cafes, a community shop stocking a great range of local Island produce and The Old Fort pub; a family-friendly establishment on the seafront with outdoor seating right by the sea. The Seaview Hotel is in the heart of the village, a rare example of a unique British coastal hotel. It has a formal dining-room plus a more traditional bar serving food, and a very cosy lounge-area to the front where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink.
The larger town of Ryde is a few miles along the coast, with many shops and a wider choice of places to eat. A seafront promenade takes you all the way from Seaview to Ryde, ideal for younger ones on bicycles or exercising the dog, passing several beach cafes to rest and grab an ice cream!
