Welcome aboard this luxury two-storey houseboat in Bembridge harbour with two rear balconies and a private pontoon, you can kayak right up to your back door just in time for lunch. Beautifully decorated throughout, guests have all the modern facilities in an idyllic setting while gently floating to the rhythm of the tide. Spinnaker Houseboat has state of the art stabilisers anchoring it firmly to the seabed with minimal movement, just a rise and fall with the tide. Relax on the rear deck with your morning coffee overlooking Bembridge harbour and the Solent beyond and watch the swans float by.
There are three double bedrooms, one on the ground floor and two on the first floor, including the master bedroom. Doors lead out from the master bedroom to a balcony with an outdoor loveseat. Wake up in the sumptuous super-king size bed and wander out to the balcony with your morning cuppa, it doesn’t get much better than this! There is a ‘Jack and Jill’ style shower-room joining the master bedroom with the other first floor double bedroom, a lovely light room with wonderful views over the Brading marshes and the harbour. Access from this bedroom leads out to a front facing balcony, so you won't miss the sunshine whether it’s rising in the morning or setting in the evening.
The ground floor has an open plan layout with a very spacious living-room with kitchen and dining areas, and plenty of seating for six guests. The kitchen has everything you might need to cook your favourite dishes in a comfortable and sociable setting, and of course, the Island has the most hours of sunshine in the UK so you will be making the most of dining on your deck. A second bathroom is on the ground floor with a bath and fitted shower, along with another double bedroom. Everything about Spinnaker Houseboat will delight you, it will most definitely be a holiday you will love and remember. There is private parking for up to three cars.
A short walk along the harbour takes you into Bembridge village, passing the Pilot Boat Inn en route. Serving locally caught seafood and the infamous Bembridge crab sandwiches makes this a great place for lunch or dinner. The village itself is exceptionally well appointed with a butcher, bakery, fishmonger and farm shop. There are several cafes and restaurants, making Spinnaker Houseboat the perfect location with everything you might need within a fifteen to twenty minute walk. One of the other houseboats has been converted to a floating cafe, The Best Dressed Crab, where you can sample the freshest shellfish straight from the fishermen in an idyllic setting. You will be spoilt for choice as to where to have lunch.
