Located on the corner of Ryde Road, Westbourne is a lovely property ideally placed for Seaview Village and the beach. The village amenities are just a few minute's stroll away and include a community store, several cafes and The Seaview Hotel. The seafront and Seaview Yacht Club are also within a five minute walk, wander down for a morning dip in the sea and soak up the unique charm of this small Edwardian resort.

Westbourne has a spacious open plan kitchen/dining-room with a large dining-table to enjoy family mealtimes together. Doors from the kitchen lead out to a secure decked-area with an outdoor table and chairs. There is also a laundry-room and cloakroom on the ground floor. The separate sitting-room is to the front of the house – an elegant and cosy room with coal-effect gas fire, making Westbourne a great getaway all year round. Doors from the sitting-room lead to the patio-area at the front of the house where further outdoor furniture, shielded with clever planting, makes this a perfect sun-trap to enjoy al fresco meals.

All three bedrooms are on the first floor – two doubles and a bunk bedroom, plus a family shower-room. All of the bedrooms have been stylishly decorated with well chosen soft furnishings, ensuring a wonderfully comfortable cottage to make the most of your holiday on the Island. There is an additional television in the bunk bedroom so the kids can settle down watching their chosen programme at the end of the day whilst you savour the peace!

Both The Seaview Hotel and The Old Fort pub are family-friendly establishments specialising in locally-caught seafood, The Seaview Hotel’s crab ramekin is well worth a sample. Each have outdoor dining-areas with wonderful sea views across the Solent, a major shipping lane for passenger, freight and military vessels – a great view with plenty to see. Lily’s cafe in the village centre is open all year round, serving breakfast and lunch plus a sumptuous range of home-made cakes – you could get through the whole holiday without cooking a single meal!

With a choice of beaches also within walking distance there is something for everyone. Seaview beach itself is a combination of shingle and rock pools, ideal for swimming and a great spot for the kids to do a spot of crabbing. The two adjoining beaches are Seagrove and Priory Bay, both idyllic and predominantly sandy beaches, favourites for beach barbecues long into the summer evenings. The Isle of Wight has an enormous amount to offer all year round, you won’t want your holiday to end.
