A wonderful contemporary beach house, offering accommodation for eight, within a few minutes walk to the beach and Bembridge village. There is a spacious kitchen/diner with doors out to the enclosed and private patio area with outdoor seating and bean bags. Relax with a glass of wine before wandering down the road to the Pilot Boat Inn for a evening meal with harbour views. There is a separate sitting-room on the ground floor, a light and airy room with beautiful soft furnishings and colourful artwork where the kids can enjoy a film on the cosy bean bags.
All four bedrooms are situated on the first floor, two with en suite’s plus a family bathroom. Definitely no queues here! The master bedroom to the front of the house has an en suite shower room, as does the twin room to the rear. The further two bedrooms are a bunk-bed room and another double, all of which are stylishly decorated, a good night’s sleep guaranteed after a day at the beach. Pilot View has a wonderful seaside ambience created by the owner, providing a comfortable and relaxing holiday home just a few minutes from the beach. There is off street parking for two cars.
Bembridge is surrounded by many idyllic beaches to choose from, sandy ones ideal for swimming and rocky ones for a spot of crabbing. Several of which have beach cafe’s in residence to enjoy a bit of lunch or a cup of tea and an ice cream, lovely at any time of the year. Bembridge is a bustling village full of charming independent shops, including a bakery, fishmongers, butchers and farm shop. Sample the Islands finest and freshest produce for your holiday meal times, perhaps stock up and and take a picnic to the beach?
Pilot View also benefits from a good choice of places to dine out all within walking distance, whether it's a local pub you fancy or perhaps a Chinese. The Pilot Boat Inn is within stumbling distance, open every day throughout the year, they specialise in the local seafood including their superb Bembridge crab sandwiches. The Crab and Lobster Inn overlooks Bembridge Ledge, with an outdoor seating area where you can dine while enjoying the breathtaking views across The Solent. There are several cafe’s in the village for a well earned cup of tea or coffee, the bakery has a mouth watering display of freshly baked cakes and bread with a charming seating area to sit in or out. Pilot View is the perfect location for all your holiday wishes, explore the Island’s wonderful scenery and relax at the end of the day in your superb Classic Cottage.
