A charming sun-room to the front of the property has soft seating and is the perfect sun-trap to relax with a cup of tea and admire the beautiful gardens surrounding the cottage. Recently renovated to a high standard, with a brand new shower-room, the cottage is warm and inviting. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin. There is a good sized kitchen with a dining-table to seat four, and all the mod-cons needed for your holiday culinary desires. The sitting-room is separate, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy a film night after a wonderful day out exploring the Isle of Wight. Bagwich Barn Cottage welcomes dogs and the surrounding area is walking heaven, with or without a four-legged friend. There is off street parking for two cars, plus a lockable bike shed for guests use.
Ideally located in the middle of the Island, Bagwich Barn Cottage is the ideal base to explore all of the Island’s beauty. Godshill is the nearest village within walking distance or a short drive away. Godshill is best known for its model village and plethora of tea rooms and gift shops, quintessentially English and full of charm. There are also several pubs which come highly recommended, The Taverners and The Essex to name a few, both dog and family-friendly establishments. Being an island the beach is never far away; Steep Hill Cove on the south coast just outside Ventnor, is an idyllic cove only accessible by foot with a charming beachside cafe. Ventnor itself has a fantastic range of restaurants and cafes, many of which specialise in locally-grown produce and the freshest of fish. Return to your cottage at the end of a great day out and relax in the peaceful countryside setting with plenty of space for the kids and dog to run about while you sit back and relax!
