Seaview is an idyllic village in the north eastern corner of the Isle of Wight, with beautiful beaches, white sands and wonderful views over the Solent. The village has a charming nostalgic feel as nothing has changed much since the fifties, the perfect holiday destination to get away from it all! There are a variety of beaches, some rocky and others sandy, the potential for crabbing and beach games a plenty. Seagrove and Priory Bay are a short walk from the village centre, both of which are idyllic beaches with stunning views out to the Forts and Portsmouth. Both bays are favourites for summer beach barbecues long into the evening or long coastal walks when the sun isn’t shining, which is rare here on the Island! There are several places to eat out in the village, The Old Fort pub is on the esplanade where you can savour the local seafood whilst admiring the boats on this busy stretch of water. The Seaview Hotel has an informal bar plus a more formal dining-room to cater for every occasion. When the weather permits you can relax in the outdoor seating area to the front of the hotel, get a beverage of choice, sit back and admire the view. The Island has so much to offer and nothing is too far away, once you have been you will certainly want to return.
