One of two beautifully converted barns right in the heart of the Island's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Equipped and decorated to a high standard mixing the charming features of the barn with modern fixtures and fittings for ultimate guest comfort. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, with a brand new modern bathroom in between the two. The open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas has an old stable-door leading out to a seating area with glorious views over Brighstone downs. Adjacent to the property the owner has built a new stable block and can offer livery for guests choosing to bring their own horse, available from May through to September, at an extra cost per horse per night. The surrounding countryside is idyllic, with stretches of beach and countryside on your doorstep to ride, walk or cycle to your heart's content.

Situated along the scenic coastal route between Freshwater and Ventnor, Brighstone is a lovely village located on the south west of the Island. Complete with friendly pub and convenience store amongst beautiful thatched cottages made from local Island stone and traditional farms, this is a picturesque village perfect to stay in. Centred within breathtaking scenery, put on your walking boots or mount a bicycle (or your horse!) and explore the large networks of 200 miles of cycle routes and hundreds of miles of countryside, coastal and enchanting forest trials across the Isle of Wight. Immerse yourself in the beautiful landscapes and villages, it is no wonder the Island is popular for walking holidays. If you don’t relish in the idea of summertime walks across the Island, have no fear as this side of the Island has so much to offer. The incredible Alum Bay is just a 20 minute drive away, famous for its array of colourful sands which you can visit by chairlift to the beach, or head out to sea for a close up view of the dramatic Needles, lighthouse and unusual sands on a boat trip. After a fun day out, those tummies will need filling and you are spoilt for choice with outstanding pubs and restaurants nearby. From the good old fish and chip shops to Michelin star restaurants, you will find the perfect place to eat for you and your family. With the majority of the Island's population living on the east side, this leaves the west side of the Island a beautifully quiet and unspoiled area of countryside for you to explore as you relax on holiday.
