Yarmouth is an idyllic setting for a holiday, a bustling town with plenty going on all year round. The car ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth takes just thirty five minutes and means you could easily come with your car or as foot passengers.

This historic harbour town, situated at the mouth of the River Yar, boasts a Grade II Listed Pier, the perfect spot to watch the busy marina and a perhaps enjoy a bit of fishing. The town itself has a good selection of boutique shops, a mouth watering delicatessen and some lovely cafe's and restaurants.

The beaches are never very far, Colwell is just a short drive away, offering spectacular views across the Solent to the mainland. It is a small easily accessible beach with clear calm waters with gently sloping sand making it ideal for swimming.

The Old Gaffers Festival, a type of boat, takes place in Yarmouth in June filling the town with music and entertainment, a great event for all ages. Tapnell Farm with it's restaurant, outdoor activity centre and indoor play barn is just up the road and a must for the younger ones in the family.
