The Limes is nestled in a corner of St Helens Green overlooking the cricket pitch, with far reaching views from the rear master bedroom over Brading Marshes. The location is peaceful with just a short walk to the beach, Bembridge Harbour and several places to dine out around the Village Green. The property itself offers a charming open plan kitchen/diner with an additional seating area with doors out to the lovely mature cottage garden and decking with plenty of outdoor seating, the perfect setting for a barbecue. The cosy separate sitting-room is to the front overlooking the Green, plus there is a separate, more formal, dining-room. There are three good sized double bedrooms, a large single, and three newly updated modern bathrooms. Nowhere is too far away on the Island and St Helens is a great base to explore the stunning coastline of West Wight, but with everything you would need in close proximity for the less adventurous days. There is off street parking for one vehicle.

St Helens is a picturesque village on the east side of the Island, within walking distance to Bembridge harbour and shops. The nearest beach is a picturesque walk away over St Helens Duver, the sand dunes with a royal history, where you will find sandy beaches, rock pools, sand dunes and coastal woods all within a small area. A truly lovely place to relax or gently wander. A brisk walk along the harbour, passed the quirky houseboats, takes you to Bembridge Village where there are boutique shops and several cafes including a houseboat ‘Best Dressed Crab’ Cafe which you pass on your walk. If you fancy getting active Tacktisle is a short drive away on St Helens duver, they specialise in outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking, kayaking, sailing and much much more. The walks from your doorstep are endless, the nearby Brading Marshes is the first RSPB’s reserve on the Island and covers most of the beautiful valley of the lower River Yar. The nearby beach at St Helens Duver is a wonderful twenty minute walk across the harbour, take a break at the Baywatch beach cafe for the obligatory ice cream, and in the evening the cafe takes on a restaurant feel specialising in locally sourced seafood.
