Bridge has a friendly pub across the road and a few minutes down the road in Portreath you can grab a pasty or two from the bakery to take to the beach, visit one of the local inns or stock up on a few supplies from the local store.
This area of Cornwall has so much to offer the visitor whether you like to take life at a slow or fast pace. The network of trails nearby can take you from north to south enabling you to explore the rich mining history of 'Poldark county'. Travel by foot, bring your bike or hire one locally, the choice is yours and when you return from a day exploring, this delightful cottage will be waiting for you. Shut the door and relax in front of the wood-burner before retiring to your comfy bed or sinking into a bath of bubbles...tomorrow is another day and a new adventure awaits.

The cottage is in the hamlet of Bridge, just over a mile from the beach at Portreath and with a handy bus stop close by you could leave the car behind.
The stunning sandy beach at Portreath, great for surfing, building sandcastles or just relaxing.
Portreath beach is dog-friendly from October to Easter, at other times you can head to Mexico Towans at Gwithian or to many other locations.
Nearby Carn Brea can be reached by the network of mining trails close to the cottage, walk or cycle to explore this fascinating area rich in mining history.
Those of you bringing your four-legged friends will enjoy the great walks right on your doorstep, hopefully with a watering hole en route!
