Brixham needs little introduction for those familiar with the joys of the South Hams and its spectacular coastline. A bustling fishing port, there is always something to watch in the harbour with boats of all shapes and sizes plying back and forth across the wide expanse of Torbay. This very comfortable and cosy cottage is tucked away along a private road in a small mews. However, a ten to fifteen minute, mostly downhill walk will find you in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Brixhams glorious harbour. Ideal for a small family, there is a little patio to the rear and, rare in Brixham, a private parking space. There are no direct sea views from the cottage but in fifteen minutes you can be on the coast path from where you can head east or west.

Mount Pleasant Cottage is lovely and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. As well as the busy harbour in Brixham itself, nearby Dartmouth is well worth a visit with its eclectic mixture of shops, cafes and restaurants. River cruises are available from Dartmouth to Totnes, perhaps coming back on the steam train – a great day out. There are fishing and coastal trips available in Brixham for those of you who might wish to chance your hand with a fishing rod. Perhaps if successful you can bring the catch home for supper! This is a particularly beautiful part of the world and just right for a memorable holiday.
