Jacaranda is a spacious bungalow with an apartment below (Jacaranda Apartment (3136), in an elevated position in a quiet cul-de-sac in the pretty fishing village of Portscatho. The L-shaped sitting/dining-room has large picture windows and great views over Gerrans Bay. With three bedrooms and both a shower-room and a bathroom, this is an airy, welcoming property. It also has a small garden and off-road parking. The village boasts both a butcher and a grocery store, and there are small galleries and gift shops to browse, all within walking distance. The local pub, The Plume of Feathers, is also a short walk from the property. There are great clifftop walks to be had using the coastal path which encircles the Roseland peninsula.
Take the cliffpath north out of Portscatho and in under 20 minutes you'll be standing on the beautiful Porthcurnick beach. At low tide, Porthcurnick has acres of flat sand, perfect for games of cricket. It is a National Trust owned beach and toilet facilities are available. Further east still are Carne beach and Pendower beach which at low tide join to form an even bigger expanse of sand where dogs are allowed all year round.
