Located in the heart of this bustling village, the name of this lovely cottage translates to Little Rose Cottage.
The traditional cottage staircase is a little steep with a low lintel on the way up and divides at the top step to the bedrooms.
The utility-room by the back door also houses an additional WC.
On those cooler evenings the cosy wood-burner will keep you warm.
The dining-room links the sitting-room with the kitchen and rear patio garden.

The cottage has two spaces, one of which is suitable for a small car, however if you have something larger the Owner suggests parking across the two spaces as shown here.
This cute cottage sits on the roadside in the heart of Illogan, there is a 30mph limit on the road and the traffic tends to be local.
Portreath is a wonderful place to visit and is only a short drive from the cottage.
For surfers and sand castle builders alike, the beach here has something for everyone.

The village of Illogan is ideally located for the surf beaches at Portreath and Gwithian and all that this dramatically beautiful part of Cornwall has to offer. This quaint Cornish cottage, in the heart of this bustling village, is deceptively spacious and the Owner has achieved the perfect combination of traditional comfort with modern style. For a couple, small family or group of friends, Byghan Ros Penty could be a great base for your holiday getaway. Upstairs the double bedroom is a good size with original beams and the shower-room with wet-room style shower is great for washing the salt off after a day on the beach before relaxing in the garden. The shower-room is accessed through the twin bedroom, and both rooms have sloping ceilings.

Just along the road from the cottage you will find two fish and chip shops, a supermarket, an indian takeaway, pasty shop, a pharmacy and as many as four pubs and eateries close by in and around the village, so dine in or out, the choice is yours.
