Located on the fringes of Illogan, the small hamlet of Shuffley could easily be described as a ‘village in the valley’ with a stream running through this pretty woodland setting. Here you will find Shuffley Barn nestled within the owners’ ten acre plot.

This small but perfectly formed holiday cottage has a stylish and fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops, a sofa each for those evenings in and a large and luxurious king-size bed to ensure a good night’s rest. With valley views from the rear windows of the barn and your own large enclosed garden to the front, there is plenty of space to sit and enjoy the tranquility this idyllic location has to offer.

Shuffley Barn has easy access to the towns of Redruth and Camborne, the Cathedral City of Truro and the fabulous beaches on the north Cornish coast. This location is a walker’s paradise as the nearby Coast to Coast Trail allows you to walk from one coast to another as the trail links the historic mining harbour of Portreath on the north coast with the port of Devoran on the south coast.

A few short miles down the road is Tehidy Country Park where you can explore the maze of footpaths and cycle routes, or simply enjoy a cup of afternoon tea. For a bite to eat the nearby Tricky’s Bar and Restaurant is only a short climb up the hill and after tasting the selection of locally produced ice creams at least it’s all downhill on the way home!
