With its wood-burner to keep you snug whatever time of year you visit, this lovely little stone-built cottage is the perfect base for exploring the coastal footpaths and ancient fishing villages along the nearby Cornish coast.
Tucked away just outside the village of Sticker, and within walking distance of the popular Hewas Inn, The Hideaway is a real delight, lovingly updated and impeccably furnished. Two large chunky sofas will help you relax in front of the fire and the stylish contemporary kitchen is a pleasure to use. Steps from here lead to the fully-tiled wet-room and cosy bedroom.
Outside, a patio-area with beautifully planted borders overlooks the owners’ gorgeous garden, providing a delightful place to sit and unwind.
The neighbouring owners and their little dog Molly offer a truly warm welcome and are happy to accommodate a well-behaved dog – so stride out and explore the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Mevagissey’s narrow streets and fishing harbour, just a few minutes away by car.
With excellent roads nearby the north coast is easy to reach so the majestic cliff paths and vast sandy beaches are easy to reach and those wishing to explore further afield will love the dramatic landscapes of the far west, with Sennen cove and lovely little Mousehole harbour sure to delight.
